My home track is kicking around starting a class of TA. Been doing my homework on here, looks pretty cool. I run rubber/tc normally. My car is pretty dialed, so hopefully it's pretty close for Trans Am. Great input guys.

Keeps it light, constant reminder that it's ALL fun. We were laughing our a$$es off.
sweet.

All these TA painted cars are nice. I'm going to paint a rust bucket up with mismatched doors.

This looks like a great class we should look into. Newbies always want to run the big cars. This class, on top of looking exciting, is the perfect speed to learn driving and feeling chassis adjustments.

Default Possible HPI electric Trans-am

Sorry it's a bit late in the piece, just spotted the above and thought I'd mention HPI already sells a nitro car with pony car shell and vintage tyres, the Nitro RS4 Evo 3+.

Wouldn't be surprised if an electric version of some kind also comes out.

Good luck with this class. Looks like heaps of fun.

Exclamation

For all of you Midwestern Trans Am racers, and those of you in this area who have been on the fence about this class, we have a confirmed a date for a single Trans Am ONLY shootout race at The Track at Harbor Hobbies in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Mark your calendars and save April 12th for getting a hall pass to race. Trans Am faithful won't want to miss this one.

We do know that it will be a Reedy Invitational-style race setup, and we're working out the other details of the day. It's going to be an awesome event, and we're all really excited to put this together.

More details to be posted as we have them hammered out. Stay tuned!

Hi All,
Doug directed me to this forum. Great idea with the series, he told me that there was race being held in Illnois, but I had no idea!!!!! I am a bit of a 1:1 Trans Am nut myself, both of yesteryear and in the 80s/90s, can't get enough of the stuff and have quite a large personal collection of memoribilia.

Anyways, the 1:10 Gurney Cuda of Doug's you see on the very first post of this thread uses the decal set that I have created and available for purchase. If anyone is interested in a set, please shoot me a PM and I will respond via email from there. I have the Gurney and Savage Cuda's available right now.

Also FYI, soon to be available, hopefully in the next 2 to 3 weeks:

1. 1969 Bud Moore Boss 302 red/white/black decal set
2. 1969 Shelby American Boss 302 blue/white decal set
3. 1970 Jim Hall Camaro white/blue decal set
4. 1970 Sam Posey Challenger green/black decal set

Any questions, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Jay
