I'm looking for a pack in the 1500-1700mah range, short enough to fit the xray M18, and can handle a 10amp brushless motor.

so far I haven't found zilch

check out the flightpower packs. although they're for planes they'll work in cars too.

I am using a nosram extreme race battery
look for 28c on the nosram website (I am new here, and not yet allowed to post links...)

Bought mine on ebay a while ago.

Bit expensive, but fits perfectly.
In combination with a Xcelorin 6000kv, very very fast
