I have the Orion Pro LCS, and I LOVE it! This is the only way to practice, because you can time your laps AND it has audible tones to tell you when you hit your target lap time, a tone for when you run a new "fast lap", etc. so that even during practice you can try something and get instant feedback.
I also bought the PCLink software and cable -- after a run I can download the details to a laptop and save them. You can compare two separate runs side by side, you can have it factor out "crash" (bad) laps and tell you what the run would have been if you stayed clean, it tells you your fast 3 laps, your fastest single lap, etc. If you have the software, you can add information to the run about your car, motor, gearing, tires, etc. so that you can come back later and see it. It also prints nice reports. You can even export the data into a file that Excel can read...
FANTASTIC tool! -- The TRACK is the ultimate dyno, and this is the dashboard...
