Why did ib make the switch to trinity?
could it be,that they didnt like smc returning a boat load of shitty ib cells,so they started the talks with trinity?
or trinity approached ib to take the buisness?

We did manage to do one batch of IB4200s and we did send out a bunch of replacement cells and packs. So hopefully your cells will show up anyday now if not it means we didn't have cells with the same specs or we ran out.
IB only informed us that we would not be there importer anymore on Sunday night. We were under the impression that we would be getting more 4200s and the 4600s but guess they decided that Trinity was the way to go.
We have always tried and make things right for our customers but this change makes it impossible for us to do anything about it as we can't get IB cells anymore.
IB has replaced cells for us when they realised that the cells had issues so I hope that they will continue to care and offer some kind of replacement program with Trinity.

I can explain to everyone what went down but on these forums there will be some that will not believe me and I'm sure that Trinity will say something else so I would rather not say and just move on.
The good news is that we own the EnerG shrink with ProMatch this means if a cell manufacturer screws up we can get cells done elsewhere so this gives us control and we will have the power over the manufacturer and not the other way around.
So now it's time to make EnerG the most popular cell for RC racing.

Just curious and I know that it was asked before but no reply......what about outside of North America??? What is the European situation with IB cells? Are they going to conform to the size limit? What about the Japanese market?

So does that mean that there is a chance that at some point in time the supplier could change depending on who has the best available cell?
