well there are 2 major players in the game, the Airtronics M11 and the Futaba 3PK both are available with 2.4Ghz modules. Either of these would work fine. if you are on a budget go go with a spektrum DX-3 or the Futaba 3PM if you want 2.4. I currently use an airtronics MX-3 FM and it works great, until I get my 3PK

Since the M8 was replaced with the M11 some shops offer the M8 for a bargain. It is still a good transmitter for the clubracer. I have used KOpropo, Futaba and Sanwa/Airtronics and had never trouble with the last one although the other 2 are great stuff also.

As mention you can't go wrong with either M11 or 3PK. Just go to your LHS and hold them. See which one you like the most. Else check your local track for which radio being used the most. Decide afterwards.

3pk is great so is the m11, but if you are just looking for a solid fm that is reasonably priced I would look at the futaba 3pm is a great choice

Do you want Sticks or Steering Wheel style? If you want sticks then the Hitec Eclipse Pro Car is the best and the cheapest in its price range. If you want a steering wheel then go for the Futaba 3PK. It will be best to switch to Spektrum anyway.
