Question about Wood X-13
Digging around in my garage, I came across the old X-13 oval 1/10 oval pan car chassis.
Long, long time ago I bought this chassis and ran it with just the standard AE shock and T-bar tweak screw system.
My delemna is this. I cannot find any information on the web about the chassis anymore or any parts for it. I am wanting to build a triple shock system for use on carpet oval just for fun to see if a 15 year old car will keep up marginally with the newer designs.
Currently I am missing the top plate for the motor pod as well as the two side shocks.
Any idea what will fit as far as shocks go and if there are any top pod plates that are already pre drilled for the three shocks.
I missed an E-bay auction for 2 Wood car chassis with complete rear pods. One was the X-13, the other was the larger wider one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
The Don

If you can find a top plate fro the car the Associated micro shocks should work. I know when I ran that car I put them on mine. You might have to check the clearance on the body posts however because that area is a very tight fit.
You also might want to try the hobbytalk forum's as there is a pretty big oval crowd there that might be able to help. Good luck!
