Corally RDX brushless...diff..??'s

Corally rdx with a brushless motor... i have 2 questions.. 1.. why on power does the car seems uneasy (curves one direction-twitchy) but then reaches about .5-.75 of power it straightens out and is ok.

2. with the brushless setup (or even 19 to mod class) how tight should the diff be, and how much slippage should be acceptable for take off. it seems that my diff spools out and i lose traction..

You diff should be tight enough so it doesn't slip at all. The more your diff slips the more it wears out and the weirder the car handles. Make sure you run in your diffs properly and you shouldn't get any slip.

I struggled mightily with the diffs in this car when using brushless, especially a 10.5. I found decent success keeping things from slipping by sanding the rings with 400 or 600 grit paper, and using the original balls (instead of ceramic) since they were more grabby. It still took a beating from the brushless motors, but it was better than before.
