Actually they do not state clear windows for 2008. That's why I question it. I'll try and contact Roar directly and see what they say.

Rule 6.1.4 States No clear areas except windshields and windows are allowed.

This can be interepeted that windows and windshields are normally clear to begin with. But it is up to ROAR. At the Nationals this year even if your car fit into the box for width but was tight they were not passing cars. The rule book does not have a printed way to proceed with tech but ROAR seems to make it up as they go along IMOP.

With as many changes as we tend to see in this industry, I can understand that they have to adjust on the fly at times.

Hey Q, just wondering, accually my wife was wondering if you are going to have some bleachers set up at the track for spectators. I think that the back side of the track by the bathrooms would be perfect. Just a thought that you probably already had.

Yeah Drew07 your right I have put thought into getting or building some bleachers. I would love to be able to do that. The thing is I just dont have room in the budget for it. The upgrade to th AC power (wich should go in on the weekend of April 12th) is costing me about $3000. The improvements to the new steps on the drivers stand ran almost $800. I plan to pour a sidewalk that will run around $1200. The equipment needed to set up the big tent with power to each table was $650. I would like to put up some additional lighting over the track wich will cost around $500. Whew! And the improvement budget I had set up is only $4500.

Now if anyone out there just happens to have a set of bleachers just setting around collecting dust, give me a hollar!
