something to think about is the "team pit spots" most of the guys running on team or even the same car wanna pit together.

Pits:
We will have a tent large enough for about 100 racers to pit comfortably inside. These spaces will be reserved for those racers who are traveling from outside our area. Event sponsors will have an area reserved for their team included with their sponsorship package. Other racers who wish to reserve a spot in this area may contact the shop to make arrangements. (870-933-0479) The tent spaces will be reserved (for persons living outside our area) through June 6th. After June 6th any remaining spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis. For racers who live within our region or any racer preferring to pit outside, there will be plenty of space for canopies and trailers. I will have ample AC power for everyone. Compressed Air will be provided, as air compressors will not be permitted unless you are running a generator.

The reservation fee is $10 per person for the week. (this will help to cover the rental of the tent, tables, and chairs, which is $1200.00)

How about making the Masters class 19t?

Us old guys are all supposed to be good at this and would open up stock for the second class, increasing the overall count for stock.

I have always wondered why they stick the fast old guys in a stock class anyway?

13.5 brushless in Masters. We have run this motor here and it is very fast. All you do is stick the motor in and run it all day and don't touch it. Less maintence thats what I'm talking about.

As we get older, it gets harder to focus our vision.
Are you having trouble seeing those little spring thingies?
Just buy a cheap pair of reading glasses, us old guys should show then youngin's what it takes to build a good brushed motor.

I know what you mean. I don't know how we ever managed to keep up with motors in the "brushed days" I used to run to classes every week and keep fresh motors in both cars. How the heck did I have time to goof around?

Anyway, Brushless is nice!

The Chili Bowl has got to be the best midget racing on dirt. I went out in 96 and 98. The talent that place brings in. Your gonna see some great racing, maybe Tony will be there again this year!

[QUOTE=The Judge;4034864]2007 roar onroad nats classes:

STOCK TOURING CAR : 34 ENTRYS
19T TOURING CAR : 20
MOD TOURING CAR :20
MASTERS TOURING CAR : 16
12TH SCALE STOCK :16
12TH SCALE 19T :9

These numbers show that 4 out of the top 5 class were pretty close on
entrys. Maybe our ROAR Excom should look at how to get more interest
in our sport than worrying about how many classes we have. 115 entrys at a
National Event shows that our sport is strugling to survive. And why are
worried about to many classes!!!!!!!!!LOL [/QUOTE
That's not a very good or fair comparison, the nats location was changed with only a few weeks notice, the primary track, PeeIt had to shut down unexpectedly, and then fortunately Seattle Indoor Raceway stepped up to take over the date. That change of venue did cost ROAR a lot of racers at the nats. Sign ups were slow in coming in from the factory teams and the AE team didn't even bother to pre-enter, they just showed up the first morn of practice, really screwing up the pit acomedations for the rest of us. With some of the factory teams not pre-registering, interest was lost by quite a few privateirs.
A more fair nats to use would be the 05 Sacramento nats.
