do the trf flourine dampers have an engraved mark on the adjustable shock collar to check for correct ride height??

No!

I have used a pair of side cutters to put a groove in the collar. Do not cut through it, just enough to move some plastic around to make a noticeable mark...

The other thing is to get a ride height guage and believe it more than the collar spacing. Springs can sag, and sometimes one spring is longer than another, causing you to have more space between the collar and shock top.

I have a blue set that has a plastic collar that has no marks on it but a friend of mine had a titanium colour set and it had metal (chrome) collars that had about 4-6 marks on them... weird....
