I have a LRP 7.1 and it just started doing this but after a few minutes of running it just cuts off I have to turn it off wait a minute and then it back on and it MAY work and it MAYNOT ,,,,,,,,and its not hot but the motor is warm but not bad ,,,,any ideas

try moving the battery wires,motor wires or reciever wires around when it stops it may have a loose connection.

Yep, especially check the wire/connector from the ESC to the RX.
