Default Quality NiMH batteries

I am in the market for some NiMH batteries to race with. What company would give the best combination of quality, performance and price? I am looking into matched packs that I would have to build.

I did a search for this topic and nothing came up, so please excuse it if this has been a common topic.

Default batteries

Well you will probably start an argument with this questions as does every other battery question. I will throw all the names out there because they are all pretty good. SMC, Pro-Match, World Class, Power Push. YOu can get good cells from all of them....when comparing numbers, make sure you are comparing apples to apples. They use different methods to get their numbers. I used pro-match and they were good but my latest cells have been from SMC and they have been very good. Power Push is a small company from the Cleveland area and he has some good cells as well. I think that was a politically correct answer. There are many others out there but those are the ones that I have personally used.

I personally like Promatch or SMC cells, I have very good packs from both. GP3300's are the only way to go for stock or mod racing.

Maybe for mod, but in stock 3000 HV`s and 3000 Ultra`s/ Stocks are still unreal, and many top mod drivers are still using these.

You'd be hard pressed to find anything else than GP3300's for sale anywhere. Pro-Match seems to be a victim of their own success. They never seem to have any cells in stock anymore. KT Hobbies has them and the SMC's in stock
