Default LRP or Checkpoint Chargers

I just sold my gfx 35 and would like to pick up a LRP Pulsar 3 or a Checkpoint 1030. I have read some horror stories about the Checkpoint. Any thoughts or comments?

I have used the Checkpoint Charger since before I started to run for them, does absolutely everything I need it to. I have 2 now and have never had an issue with either. I also dumped my CE charger for these.

Hey chuck i was trying to make the same choice and was leaning towards the lrp. I heard thats a great charger and the price is much cheaper. i think i found some for $140. Everyone says they like their checkpoint, but clearly there is a big risk it will break. It does have the 5 year warranty though. I would get the lrp

I just ordered the checkpoint. I'll give it a test next weekend, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
