Default Has the Orion 3600 Lipo Been Released?

Is the Orion 3600 Lipo out yet?

If not, is there any news on a release date?

They are literally on the boat as we speak. Supposedly 7-10 days out.

Speedtech has a pre-order and they have a chunk of the first batch...I have a couple ordered.

how are the new 3600 Lipos' at 25C compared to the 3200 Lipos and the 4800 Lipos' that Orion sells?

is the 25C on the 3600 Lipos' make a huge improvement?

am debating if I should get these new Orions or the the Schumacher Core 5000 2s Lipos. I've heard very good posts about the Core Packs from Schumacher!

someone mentioned that the Orions are 2sp? and the Cores are wired differently to be more efficient? anyone know about this?????

Schumacher Core 5000 2sLipos or Orion 3600 2sLipos???????

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=165831 you should find all the info you need there. Its a great battery, with lots of punch and great run time. Myself I would get it over the Orion

If a stick pack fits, then this pack will fit. They're the same size.

This should help.

When they refer to C they are refering to the Capacity of the battery.
20C and 25C is the amount of current that they can supply constantly.
Demon 5 x 20 = 100A
Orion 3.6 x 25 = 90A
You will also see them refering to Sustained (usually 30C on a 20C pack) and Burst (approx 50C on a 20C pack).
You have to take into consideration that most of this will come from flight where they have more constant loads and know how to calculate what they will need capacitywise.
The higher the C rating the more of a premium you will be charged - 20C will be enough.
2S is two cells in series = 2 x 3.7v = 7.4v.

I bet they'll be in at Speedtech this week. Kyosho said they were in a container, crossing the ocean on the 15th of this month...so...soon...very soon. That -- and they haven't changed the due date at all. Like I said, they left from Korea already.
