hello all, im installing an team tekin rs pro and 2.5 motor combo, and i was wondering if i should up grade my receiver aswell, i curently have a novak xxl, will this work or should i upgrade...???????

ok, will the spektrum receiver work with my jr xr3i transmitter?????

Unfortunately, no. You would have to upgrade to a new transmitter reciever combo. There are plenty of 2.4GhZ systems out there at an affordable price.
Futaba has the 3pm with FASST. Spektrum has a full line of radios, similar in features and looks to your JR radio. Check this out.

I run a Novak XXL, W/Tekin Rage, 8k motor with no problem, On Xray M18. Also Serpent S400 w/RS Pro, 2.5 Redline, stock Airtronics RX, Both w/ M8. IMO you'll be ok. If you want to upgrade to a better radio you can invest on a 2.4mhz TX & RX system.

Have fun w/RSPro, & 2.5 redli ne motor. It's heck of a combo!!! Gear it correctly!!! And Time it correctly!!you'll be ok!!
