Charging Regimen
Ok guys, I got into a load of unassembled matched gp3300 recently, i built them for 12th scale stock racing. What I am wondering is what Regimen should I use to charge them and store them week to week before I race. I will basically be racing once a week. When I last raced we were soldering on resistors and putting batteries in the freezer. Here is what I was thinking but pleases tell me if its messed up.
Sunday: Race
Monday: Discharge on Trinity DPD(small one), then tray on battery doctor, then put in 1500MAH at 5.0 on CE Pitbull.
Sat: Fully Charge at 5.0A on CE Pitbull
Sunday: Re-peak and race
If this is messed up please tell me.
Thanks

1. Race
2. Put them away in the box, they should have at least 500mah left in them, but GP3300 can be stored with little charge in them
3. The night before the race put on DPD
4. 35 minutes before your heat Charge it

Deadshorting
Ok so if I deadshort them do i leave them like that all week untill i charge the day befor racing. I cant charge the day of, not enough time. Will dead shorting give me the best runtime? Can I dead short them with a simple alligator wire jumper from radio shack?
Thanks for the info
