Default sound effect for RC electric car

I wish to buy nitro engine sound effect for RC electric car.

When I pull the throttle on the controller, the engine sound will rev up and vise versa.

May I know where I can buy this ? How much is the price ?

Thanks.

I think what he meant to say was, "There is not much of a demand for a product like that. Thus no one makes one. Now if you wanted a realistic 1:1 car sound there are sound cards and speakers out there. However, very are not cheap and they can be heavy. Not exacly always worth the cool factor on your race car."

Hope that helps.

Snowy.

There actually is a product that does that. It's been around for many years... not sure if they are still in biz?

I'm drawing a blank of the name... someone here will know what I'm thinking of...

In the last minuets of my lunch hour I found this. As they say, "If there is a will there is a way." However, I still find it foolish!

They make these for RC boats. Probably pretty heavy though with the speaker. I think RAM is one company name.

Check out Tamiya. They have an elaborate speaker and controller system that they use with the new F-150 truck. This is an option system that plugs into the receiver. You might be able to reprogram it. I saw a demonstration and it had a horn, blinker, idle and motor revving sound. Plus many other options. I heard it was over $200 just for this system.

YES!!! Ram... they have had r/c sound effect kits for a long time now.

Seems like there was another company doing them too, years ago.

Ram makes different kits I think... one for diesels (big rigs), one for V8 type sounds.. I think even stuff like trains too.

They make systems like that for planes too... not practical for cars as the system is rather large and they sample airplane engines. I have a Heinkel HE-219 with twin sound systems. There's nothing like a low high speed pass with the sound of 2 V-12 engine roaring by.

Tamiya used to have a sound system for thier R/C Semi trucks.
