Default Dampening fluid

What is good dampening tube fluid, I found irs shur lube at my lhs, but I have no idea of where it falls in line. I would like to be able to do 1k-10k in 1k steps. I am running 1/12th onroad.

I assume you are talking about shock oil. I recommend this to start with:

no i am talking about dampening tube fluid for the side tubes on my 1/12th scale.

ofna diff lube is pretty good I use 5,000 and 7,000

bigmike,

Check with ROB at Windtunnel (Murdock RC) or Muddslide Motorsports

I know both have some different lubes for the Kingpins and the damper tubes.

the wind tunnel stuff looks just like the irs, it is even called shur lube. But there is still no info of what weights it is.

bigmike,

I know the Windtunnel 'ShurLube' came from the old Bolink Sure Lube, but I believe Rob has added color to be able to quickly identify which is what.

Get ahold of him directly for an answer on the viscosity or thickness.

The old Bolink stuff was rated by a simple number 1-4, and I never saw the viscosity numbers....but he would be able to answer better.

i dropped irs and murdock r/c both emails on the fluid I will post when I figure out what the scale is.
