Default 1/12 scale top five cars?

Hello all,

Thinking of trying 12th scale. Just wanted to know if I can get a run down on what cars are the top in this scale. Pros and cons would be cool.

thanks,

I'd say the hottest 1:12's out right now are (in no particular order):

- CRC GenX
- CEFX C12 EVO2 and CEFX PHX
- BMI DB12R
- Team Speed Merchant Rev 5
- Hot Bodies Cyclone 12

It's also good to see 4 of 5 are U.S. companies!!

Turboxray- It did WHAT to the competition??
Seriously, the list above looks about right... As always, the best car for someone is one they can get parts for, and fits their driving style, some people just drive a link car better than a t bar car, and vice-versa....

Kinda what I was thinking too...I seem to remember a CEFX Car TQ'ing the event and then a 2nd CEFX car with a 3 second lead with 3 minutes remaining only to crash and give the race away (nothing against Steve as he drove an awesome race).

I would go with the CEfx new car or the BMI db12R.

Come on....it has to be ...GenX all the way. From the innovation with pod too going with their own front end and spending the time/money to mold it (Not OEM associated front end). Having the best tires with the High rollers (they were the first) creating awareness that a two stage tire wasn't needed. Basically not having a Tee-bar car like so so so many copied from Associated. And finally having a car kit that just goes together without having to work at assembly of pieces.

Sure all the other car mfg's are doing great stuff as well but I imagine they would have to when the Genx is setting such high bar to pass over.

I just got a Darkside MX2 a month ago and love it. It drives like its on rails and carries a lot of corner speed. I run 19T on carpet.
