BSR Foam Tires? anyone?

Has anyone had any luck with BSR 1/10th sedan foam tires? I am looking for the "plaid" like compound if anyone knows The BSR tire equivilant. Also your comments on these tires. Thanks!

I have used these but only in Blue compound. They work well enough on carpet which is where I race. I was however suprised at the way they are made. I am used to foams being made from a do-nut blank glued to the wheel and then trued to size. BSR make theirs from a strip of foam which is glued round the wheel and then trued which means that at one point on the wheel there is a seam. Having said that the standard of finish is very good and the seam makes no discernable difference to the performance.
The tyres tend to chunk if you're not careful but Ithink that has more to do with my driving rather than any fault with the product itself.

bosscat, did you use these on ozite type carpet? I am getting ready to order some and just want to get the right set.

Thanks

Dan,
Our carpet is not Ozite its a very short pile carpet which I think is similar but I've never seen actual ozite to compare it.
The tyres certainly seem to grip ok, I only had a choice of Blue or Green compound so picked blue which is the slightly harder one in the hope of a reasonable life, also we tend to get a fair amount of crashes and whilst its great to 'stay off the boards' a harder tyre is less likely to chunk.
Hope this helps
