Default Top End speeds of bodies

Hi All

Is there any difference to the topend of the car by using different bodies?.
Which is the fastest, mazda 6, dodge, alfa, etc.
Also does it make a difference to how the rear end is cut, either high or low?

Thanks Ya`All

I would suggest staying away from scale bodies then. If you want a high performance body, buy a body that was specificaly designed to run on 1/10 TC chassis. Check out the Proline DNA series bodies.

None of the bodies he mentioned are even close to scale anyway. The MazdaSpeed6 is an awesome rubber tire body, probably as good or better than the DNA series.

That being said, I run a DNA1 at the moment and may run a DNA2 or MazdaSpeed6 next, for rubber tire racing.

As for top end, that's what gearing is for. And, yes, the wing can change the top-end but it is more about the handling of the body. These bodies are all designed for different things and some people will trade wings from one to another to change the handling characteristics.
