I race 5th scale and 12th scale, there is no point and shoot... Especially with 5th scale...

I like to drive smooth and conservative.
I like to drive punched.
Sometimes to win or have have fun I drive one way or another.
It depends on setup, track conditions, race strategy.

My driving is a mix between Point and Shoot and Smooth and Conservative. I'm trying to unlearn my years of street/parking lot bashing antics.
My problem is that I'm afraid to really crank the wheel over hard in fast turns, but my biggest problem is going too hot into the turns.
I recently switch from a TC5 to an XRAY T2 '007 and found the XRAY to suit my driving style a little better, it's more forgiving for me. I think part of that is the 3.5mm chassis on the T2, but the TC5 felt faster and more responsive with its 2.5mm chassis. I've only been driving the T2 for a week now, so time will tell.

Having only been doing this 10 months now, I started as the point and shoot and trying to drive way over my head. It took about 3 months, to settle down and really try and learn how to drive and setup the car. So I guess now I am more of the conservative, wait for the pass and yield to the much faster kinda driver.
I still get punted occassionally by the point and shoot guys/gals, and try to help them with what little I can, but we are after all still racing toy cars for fun.

mostly point and shoot but can be really smooth if im out it front but im always consistant
i drive hard and deep into the corver throw it in hard them mash the gas and carry a ton of corner speed. (Fast In = Fast out) at least in stock
19t raquires more finess (Smoothe In =Fast out)
well thats what works at my local track
at a big track smoth and tight is always faster than point and shoot

Trash talk them all from the drivers stand, distract them with a bararge of cheep pisstakes, they will mess up with the pressure.
its dirty, underhanded, low down, and even fun to watch them laugh or cry there way to defeat....
Just dont crack yourself up too much.

.And as smooth as I can the rest of the time with is sometimes not so smooth
