Battery changes in 18 month...getting back in
What cells do I need these days? Left when IB3800s were hot and talk of IB4200 and GP4300 were around the corner.
Getting back in from scratch so what is THE battery now?

Wait on the EP 4600 now since you don't have anything at the moment. If you need something now go for EP 4200 and just avoid the IB 42's for now. The IB's have been havin a lot of issues lately with venting and self discharging to the point of being dead.
but for nimh the EPs seem to be the flavor of the month.
