Are those middle turnbuckle links floating or are they fastened to the upper front chassis plate somehow? What do you notice different with your front end versus a standard Associated-type front end? Looks like a lot of fun designing and building!

They are floating after you release one or two screw depending one what you want to adjust.

I think it drives better.
Compare to a standard AE i don't have any reactive caster sow the car will steer
on the smallest input on the steering wheel, and you drive it into the corner.
I don't like reactive caster on a very small track it gives more steering that is
true, the new AE front is using bump steering to, this in combo whit reactive
caster give massive steering, we run on bigger track here and the corners are longer this make the car steer, don't steer, steer, this is a bit how the
reactive caster
work true the corner, depending on tyre grip level and length off the corner.

This is for racing, the track i test on is small and high grip, and it works great!
at this track, I will test with Somme reactive caster.

Designing is fun, if i ever start whit RC racing again, the first thing i will
get is a CNC mill. then car, radio, etc. :-)

I try to make a design that don't bend get out off alignment,
this way i have to screws holding the links now.

This camber and caster adjustment added 2.6 grams to it
show I will now try to make the arm lighter it is better that they
flex and flex back then bend something in impact
