Hello all.
Well just arrived back at the hotel after the first day of practice. We ran 5 rounds today by heats. Brand new carpet this year and the surprise to everyone is that traction is huge! We are using a brand new tire called Sweep. these are made by MuchMore but they are totally different from their excisting tires. The Sweep name is a seperate brand as I have been told. This is my first time hearing or seeing these tires and they are working well. We are running 2 divisions Stock(17t LRP motor) and Modified. In Stock, Last years Champion Bastien Hening is again looking fast as well as a long time fast guy Alexander Stocker. In Modified. Fastest lap I saw during practice was ran by Temmu Leino. Fastest overal run was turn in the last heat of the last round of practice today by......... Steen Graverson of Denmark, only 23 lap run. Facitlity is very nice. Track layout is more difficult this year. Still open, but a few tight sections and with such high traction many mod drivers are traction rolling when they push it. unfortunatly the internet service that is comming into the hall has been in and out. Rob from BBK scoring has everything set up to give nearly instant results online, but just strugling with the internet signal. I will try and give a run down each day. Thats the latest from Germany.
