I had batteries pop out once when I first got it. I added a couple layers of sticky back foam to the bottom of the hold down bar. Puts more pressure on the battery. Have not had them pop out since.

I think a better solution would be to file or cut the plastic that the hold down screw goes into (the screws where you put the body clips through). Just lower the bar hold down completely. I just haven't gotten around to it.

I had my batteries pop out when I first built my car so I did a simple mod. (see pictures).

pretty much the guys i know tape them including myself...

never had a problem with it as long as you file down the battery slots.

BTW,
Are you suppose to use RPM NTC3 bumper with 3 big holes?

that's the only big bumper the hobbyshop had

faster to paint a couple of bodies of the same design than one at a time..
