Default Pro 4 and Pro 4 Hara Discontinued

I`ve found out at the HPI USA site that the Pro 4 and Pro 4 Hara Edition Kits are now Discontinued.
-Your Pro 4 is now a Classic Kit.

I`m putting My Pro 4 Hara Edition(Fully Hopped Up) in a Safe Place(safer place than where it`s at now) and I`ll be running it Much Less.

HPI might be coming out with a Pro 5; but they can`t make a kit much better than the Pro 4.
-The Pro 5(if any) might be a Shaft Drive kit.

Take Care.

Default Hot Bodies is HPI

2 people owned HPI and Hot Bodies. Person #1 didn`t want to be with Person #2 anymore. Person #1 was mostly the Brains of HPI; left HPI and took all the good ideas(including people.....Racers and others) with him/her.

Person #1 always had Hot Bodies mostly under his/her power and took that name.
-Person #1 was planning to put out the Pro 5; but since the -Pro- name is part of HPI it couldn`t be used with Hot Bodies. So it was called: Cyclone.
-Person #1 tried(and is still trying) to push on the Hot Bodies name as much as he/she could; but the name just isn`t strong enough.
-Person #1 has to pay Person #2 money for the split-up; so funds had to be split between Hot Bodies and HPI.
-Person #2(HPI) has no one with any really good ideas.....(yet); and through anger he/she has discontinued the Pro 4s and a few others. Person #2 just added a few extras on the other HPI stuff.

That`s why things are so Low for both companies lately.

-----I`ve got the Info from watching the Daily/Nightly Business Report on PBS. There`s a little more to it; but that`s the Main part of the story.....and that`s all I can remember.....Ha Ha!

On the Shaft Drive and Belt Drive thing; Belt Drive is what Racers feel is the best(again.....for now). So Belt Drive is what everyone will be making.
-They don`t care what we think/like. They know that we will buy what they sell. Come On Now; We`re Hooked on this R.C. Stuff.....Ha Ha!

Take Care.

Guy, thanks for coming to rctech.net. I got canned from radiocontrol for reasons they still havent told me about. Oh well, this site is better.

Turn signal...I heard about what you mentioned in the rumor mill. That the husband and wife were splitting, the wife having the dough and the husband having the know how. Makes sense.

Turn signal...I bought another Pro4 strictly for parts. That being said, when are the races going to be held in your part of Brooklyn that we spoke about back in July??

Turn signal...Dont shelf the Pro4!

And finally...because of the rage and it is TECHNICALLY an HPI, I will be buying a Cyclone. Until HPI gets their act together, I need to stay with whats current. By no means am I junking my Pro4.

Stay tuned, it will be a hornets nest. The cats on this forum believe in feedback and convo. Threads dont go dead in the rctech.net!
