replaced the cap and nut with Pro4's. the Pro4 cap provides a better seal.

Hhhhm? I guess I bought the wrong car then. I just picked up a Pro 4 and plan to run asphalt, rubber tire, modified with it.

Good thing I still have my Tamiya TA04!

I would look into getting the 2mm chassis for it.

OK. What will that buy me or achieve? What will 0.5 mm do to the overall car?

Thanks!

AH! OK. So is that the only thing to change if I want to race this car in asphalt modified racing? The track is big and fast - not very technical (click the link in my signature and you can see some pics of what we are racing). Anything else from the stock setup?

Thanks!

hey regg..... if your boss is hiring then tell me where to send in my resume'. I think my ride at Mindblown Modifieds is pretty-much over...on account of i don't think the company exists anymore (or brad's taking ONE BIG VACATION). Last i heard of him, his in-laws were putting their lives back together after Katrina.
but i don't feel too bad about it. i just became a member of maxamps.com. now i can get hot cells at a discount price.!

Awesome! Thanks fjm9898!

I should get the car this week - whether before Thanksgiving or after. Hopefully it will be good to go!

Thanks!

Does anyone know of a web site that sells HPI aftermarket parts? I keep going to Speed tech r/c and everything that I would order is out of stock. I have been checking back now for a few months and the same items are still out of stock! I am especially looking for Square products.
Thanks
