Default EPA ADJUSTMENTS

fyi..

if you're running the front hubs without the spacers...and you're EPA is not properly adjusted..the front wheel will touch the lower shock mounting screw. Will bind up your drivetrain if not properly adjusted. Even with all the spacers in place for maximum width..the wheels are still close to touching the screw..less than 1mm.

If the weather holds...will finally get a chance to run the car this weekend.

Thank you all for the updated price info and other info........
I am like 14 years off elect on-road (right, there were no elect on-road beside 12th scale 14 years ago)........and I would like to get back to the sceen.............

But from what I see, TC3 is the one to go, then XXXs, then Yok. Xray....etc.

However, I am a strong believer of "NEWER is better".........so TC3 really not what I really want..............

Can you guys tell the PRO4 is up to par with those I listed above..? Or should I stick with TC3 or XXXs.........?

THanks

Release Date & Pricing

The release date (the shipping date) from HPI to distributors is going to be next week for USA kits. They will likely go out of our warehouse on 2/11 or 2/12. We had a last minute issue with the boxes that is being sorted out now. As for the european kits, I can't really speak for them, but it would seem logical as suggested that the timing of the Nurnberg toy fair is unfortunate.

We can't control the street price, but $290~300 should be about right.

OK, I am already set for Fukuyama batteries, Takeoff 32s tires combo, Reedy Quat Mag 19T........Radio is my 3PK, Body probably the new Alfa...........car = PRO 4 for sure.

Now, I need 2 more opinion from you guys..........I need Futaba Steering servo, which model? (the only other brand I would consider is JR, KO is hard to get and Hitec....don't waste our time.)

ESC - I can choose from LRP QC2 or Novak GT-7........which one? I heard ppl said QC2 are easy to pop or burn or smoke..........and GT-7 is a little better.

Thanks again.

I have the Fut S9550 servo in mine...it is great...provide plenty of room for your electronics. I've got the 3pk and HRS set-up as well.
Awesome combo. get the GT7 over the Q2. But if you have the extra cash...look into the HB Hara Twister Speedo...it's purple and looks great in the car. Made by KO..basically identical to the VFS-2000 esc.

I really am looking forward to it coming, I just hate ordering new cars - fear of the unknown.
