V1.1 and the ones that come with the Hara are identical.
V1.1 is just an updated part... more beefier than the original V1 when the kit was released.

hi guys...

I need help again....I've never run electric before(off road only)...

I'm taking the Pro 4 next week to the HPi challenge in DE.....gonna run stock class.....I was all set to run the NSX GT(liked the way in ran in nitro stock)...and last night HPI puts up a warning that the low profile bodies (NSX,lambo) etc don't fit........

I heard the stratus is crap because of the way the wing is molded(creates up lift under the wing)......

So I need help picking a HPI body to run.......Some people are running the 200 mm nitro escudo body.....I think its too heavy.....and might slow the car down with all the down force(but if you think diff, let me know).....

so help me choose......

btw,if you like the stratus, let me know....I might be able to run HPI's optional wing on the back....

the course is outdoor asphalt........non treated.....

thanks!!!!!

I ran the 190 Stratus 2 in my Pro2 last year at the Austin Challenge. It worked wonderfully. I didn't see any lift. Whoever said that must be an HPI-hater.
-Josh

EDIT: If you are looking for a little more steering, give the Alfa 156 a shot.

I run the Stratus 2 at all the local tracks in my area and like the way it handles. The body feels good on my Pro 2 and Pro 4.

See you at the Challenge next week!

We ran 3 Stratus 2's last weekend on our PRO4's. If there was any lift you would think my 8x1 mod motor qould show it.We saw zero lift. The bodies are very balanced.Nice speed with good downforce.A lot less steering than the new cadillac body ,but alot less drag too.

The Stratus Aero 2 works well, but you know what?.. It doesn't matter which body you use, fastharry. You'll be in my neck of the woods - you're doomed! I'll see you there. Good luck!

You should not be able to BUY V1.0 gear...it is some old history of the pro 4 gear....so, no need to confirm V1.0 vs V1.1....all are V1.1 already.

Isn't it the HPI AERO 2 Stratus body a good choice that even HARA used that before...?

I did. No big deal - It's just like riding a bike. Get yourself some track-time and you'll be fine.
