If it frees it up a lot thats probably the best point for yah. I try to make it as close as possible with it still being as free as possible.

Also with any new car things will be a little tight. You might just try not worrying about it run it once or twice and then recheck. Also listen for any sort of unpleasant sounds of course. You want it to be pretty quiet, if you can listen to other pro4 cars and possibly check those out so you know if your within range.

Good luck.
thank you very much for the advice !!
I gave it breaking in last night for 3hours and it seems like in smoother condition than before now...
as you mentioned, I intend to give it few runs and re-check it !
thank you again !!

Enjoy.
Why would they make a new set-up sheet? There aren't any structural differences, are there?

I didn't think HPI endorsed, nor encouraged the tweak mod. You wouldn't happen to know what the other changes were, would you? Are the cars still compatable? It's not like TC3-TC4 changes, right?

the new 2.25 upperdeck has the 4 hole screw mod. allows for more lateral flex and still rigid for/aft...
all parts still compatible... no major changes just performance option parts.

Hey, do you guys know if anyone makes those protective plastic sheets that just stick to the chassis? It's like really thin lexan-looking stuff, and it's sticky on one side. My street is really bumpy, and I just want to protect my baby.

Question about shimming the diff........I am running front and rear ball diff for outdoor mod foam.........and I started to rebuild the both melted front/rear diff gears, since the manuel shimming is way off to the actual case, I want to know the main theory about the pinion/spur diff gearing fundermental....

Here is my questions, am I suppose to set the gear meshing (talking about the diff gears) closer to each other or futher apart while they are still spinning freely? That means I have to shim 1 side of bearing more then the other side, I just don't really know I should set the DIFF gear closer to the bevel pinion gear or further apart from the bevel pinion gear.....

Now, the diff setting........I replaced the stock screw/nuts with the AE TC3 setup.......now, how many TURN OUT I have to turn from complete screw in position..? TC3 would tell you 1/2 turn front and 1/4 turn rear (something like that..) but what about PRO 4...? I know no one know the exact number, but I would like to get a ball park number...

Thanks everyone
