Which part breaks the most? One answser for just normal wear and tear, and one for crashes, please.

Front gears when running a one-way tend to go easily for me. I've replaced three sets. I've gotten a lot of laps down with mine and I've gone through 3 sets of front gears, one titanium front axel, one drive cup, and one wheel bearing. That also represents three major crashes though too, so I can't complain.

Nothing appears to be "wearing out" however.

I hear people using different tooth#'s on their spur gear rather than the stock 98t...i currently changes mine to 100t...does this really make a differece? As long as the final gear ratio is the same no difference will be made right?

you ream the 2 bigger holes on the upper deck...well let me just show a picture

if you can see the two holes go deeper than the rest cause the holes are reamed. This is to prevent less tweak.

so you only ream the 2 behind the spur, and then the 2 just in front of the steering rack? How much do I need to ream out?

you need to get 4 button head screws to replace the csk screws for those locations, then using a drill bit which is slightly larger than the button head drill out the holes

and yes, the holes for the long screws running into the diff housings

I assume it is the same size screws in the holes, just the button head type like you said. Do you know the part number for the screws by chance?

Also, do I want to completely drill out the holes in the deck, or just enough to let the button heads sink into the top deck?

ok so I just completely bore out the holes so the screws it sounds like are just clearing the top deck and only screwing into the diff cases.

What is the size screw I need to do this with and do you have the part #

Thanks everyone for your replies.
