I have got tamiya shocks on my pro4, they fit with no problems. Just use the hpi shock shafts, spring cup and plastic ball ends.

Do you really think youi'll notice a difference? The original Pro 4 shocks are excellent (arguably, the best out there) - Hpi just made the new version even better.

not in the US yet... got mine overseas...

if you have the TC3 T-nut and screw..you are better off using that.
new T-nut is not worth the $4.00

Hi

I want to ask all you Pro 4 owner which company make the 48 pitch spur gear which will allow me to use the 4 little screws to secure the spur gear. I have bunch of 48 pitch pinion I like to use. I have Kimbrough spur which only allows me to use 2 instead of 4 screws. Thanks

Speedtech's spur gears are fantastic. They have the four holes and are super strong

Well I dont own the pro4 nor have I ever owned an electric touring car. But I love my HPI's.

I was scanning HPI's website and found this image.

Looks like the kit is now out. Start bugging your LHS's.

This is good news, people should definently have these racing by the end of the month. Which also means the news I heard should be correct and the HARA R40 will be out next month. In case any of you guys own nitro.

Take care.

Heres another one. Lists some of the options the hara has.

From HPI: For Touring Car fans, the Hara Edition Pro 4 was on display for the first time. A bright Hara-inspired limited edition box contains competition upgrades to the National Champion Pro 4. Features include a lightweight Delrin diff, new 2.5mm upper deck, all-new shock absorbers, a new motor mount, sway bars, and several other refinements that make the Pro 4 even faster!

I'm glad to see the pro4 is not yet forgotten since most shaft cars are overlooked now . I'm just hopng part supplies will still be made in the next 2 years.

Is it worth buying this kit ...or should i just buy the top and bottom plate, derlin diff outdrive, and the motor sink? Then again it does come with the low friction shocks and the aluminum servo mounts. . If the cyclone doesn't come out with the same suspension parts as the pro4 or is over $450 ...i'll probably get the hara edition.
