rc-z: I don't have anything firm, but I've heard around $75 over a std P4... but don't hold me to that.

Hey Erik this is the way I shimmed the front one-way and the rear i shimmed per manual. You should see and feel my drivetrain--ABSOLUTE BUTTER--and even when I spin the rear wheels LIGHTLY I get 8secs of roll. Count eight seconds in your head, that's a good time for just tapping the wheels. Out of all the cars I have this has the smoothest drivetrain.
As far as the battery strap, I found a better solution for that. I just took a 1/2"x 5" piece of high density foam and CA'ed it underneath the strap. DONE
What I'm trying to find now is the carbon fiber U-shaped pieces that HPI makes that goes around the tranny cases. -JB

Had a great race last Saturday. Setup turned out to work great. I was a little worried about the driving difference of the rubber tires since I was so use to foams. Turned out I could drive the car just as hard into the corner with no worries of traction rolling. Car was SOLID!!!
I took some pointers from your setup, as well as some of the help others posted here about the issue I was having and it totally solved my problem. Man, I'm really impressed/amazed how much more corner speed this car has without traction rolling.

I went to 20R tires (couldn't get 22's locally) and hpi orange inserts, altered my ride height and droop, made a world of difference. Rear end is planted solid, I actually have too much traction I think and it's now scrubbing my overall time .. but I'm happy about that, I can loosen the car up a little now.

Glad to hear your car was better. I didn't feel like it was scrubbing. I might play with tire choices a little more CS22's all I have now but I'll get some more and try them, as well as inserts.

take care

Hi guys, haven't been into R/C in a while. Planning to get back once summer starts.

Anyways, wondering if there's anything new concerning the Pro 4? (parts, etc.)

If you bought a kit it comes with an 05 manual. You can find the chart there.
