Thanks!
Do a search for "o-ring mod", and be sure to set the search to show as posts, not threads. I can't remember what page it's on, but that's how I found it.

I compared the two last night... they look identical if your using it for the diff...
I haven't had any problems using the V1.1 gears.

the only upgrades I have are the spring kit, sway bars, one-way brace, few sets of 1.1 bevel gears and a couple of cone washers and o-rings for the upper deck mod.

Also get yourself the Pivot Block Spacer Set. Allows you to adjust Kick-up and Squat and also to raise and lower the bulkheads (roll centres)

Just the ring and pinion,It is worth it.The car just owns stock.. It does take a pretty good hit to damage the gears.

Hi guys hate to be a pain, but could you tell me what parts I need for the upper deck mod and how do I go about doing it. Or if someone could direct me to the right pages it would be greatly appreciated.

Check out this pict

Drill out the two holes at each end to allow a button head screw to pass through the deck. On the steering post put an o-ring under an upside down countersunk washer with a button head screw, tighten equally.

Requires 6 button head screws, 2 o-rings, 2 washers, and a way to drill the deck.
