Default Glitching

I am having a major problem with glitching. I have an Airtronics MX3-S transmitter and the Airtronics Synthesized receiver. I race on an outside asphalt track and I am the only one having this issue. Sometimes, while running the car, it will almost turn 90 degrees by itself and it totally screws my driving up. Other times, the throttle will blip to full throttle for about a second. I have tried changing channels and even tried a totally different receiver that is not synthesized. It only happens on certain areas of the track too. I've also tried moving my receiver and antenna to the top chassis plate, but it still glitches. I do have a personal transponder, but I moved that to my front bumper. What else can I try? I have the Novak SS5800 brushless motor system.

Make sure your motor has capasitors on it, then check and make sure that your antenna wire isnt touching anything carbon in the car, and make sure it wont when going over bumps.

Can someone help....

Can someone point me to the page # (from this PRO 4 thread) pertaining to the HPI springs rate in LBS/Inch rate......I knew someone listed that more then 1 time, but with almost 400 pages to search.....it is almost impossible for me to do it with very limited computer knowledge....

I do not have HPI springs set, but do have AE and LOSI springs set, just want to get some reference and compare....thanks.

My motor doesn't need capacitors on it. The antenna wire is not touching the carbon fiber top plate and is very close to the receiver.

Add extra padding underneath your recevier....the way I would do, add 2 or 3 extra layers of doubleside tape....

That's a good idea. I was trying to think of a material that would block interference between the carbon fiber and the receiver, but I guess the further it is away, the less interference you'll have.

copper tape from the art/craft store will work as well.

Copper tape?? That sounds like it would create a better flow for interference.

don't put a heatsink on, unless you plan on making additional airflow like hara has on the car, cause heatsink alone without additional airflow or cooler does not help, even more, it keeps the motor more hot. the only thing is heat dissipates faster after you stop racing.

That doesn't sound right. How could adding more surface area not help cooling? More air would be able to flow over more surface area even if he didn't have a direct method of air flow.

I don't think that's right, when the car is running, thats where the airflow passes the fins to cool the motor, I also have a fan behind the motor.
