Yes, you can use a normal drill, I did mine using a normal drill too. But do it slowly and I suggest you start of with a smaller bit first, eg 4.5mm then go on to 6mm. That's to prevent it from chipping......

and if you have a countersink bit... lightly use it to smooth out the rough endges... give it a cleaner look.

i suing dremel with countersink bits to drill slowly. you can get it from wall mart just cost you about 18 bucks only.

this is last pic i dunno why my digital cam cannot get closer to take pic if too close i will not clear
