I have them on my 2nd Pro 4. I'm running the car on a very high-grip carpet track w/ foam tires. They give the car a more stable feel. I think they're definitely a "must have" item. Get em', if you can find them.

So you are running wider front than rear right? what's the downside when you have wider front? (or rear)

and since i'm not living in US, which website i can order those wide hex hub? will it work if i order some wider tamiya hex hub?
I'm running about 1mm wider front than rear.

clamping hex hubs can be ordered from Integy and available in purple to match.

http://integy.automated-shops.com/cg..._sresults.html

use the word: "clamp" to do the search..

they're worth buying if you're running outdoors on asphalt.
also they are more durable than the graphite ones. right now not available in the US. I got mine from Rainbow10.

there aren't really any nessessary mods to be done to make it race ready... the car is very fast out of the box.
the upper deck mod was explaned a few or many, many pages back. it helps elliminate or reduce any chance of chassis tweak.

@ yellow; I bought the 6mm Tamiya clamps, they fit fine.
They are not purple but Integy asks $28,00 for shipping.....
If you wish I search the partnumber when I get home tonight. (about 8 hours from now)

What will it do to the car when you use 6mm clamps AND 2mm shims all around; make the car 4 mm wider

Rene Brons: yeah it will be great if you can find the parts #.
so if i use that Tamiya 6mm clamp and don't use the shims the width will remain the same right?

i don't really mind it's not purple as you can't see it with the wheels on anyway.. and yeah $28 for shipping for something so cheap and small is really too much i think..

You don't have to do any mods, to get the car, "race-ready". The car's "race-ready" out of the box. The upper deck mod is done to reduce the risk of chassis tweak, but not necessary for the car to perform properly. Purely a precautionary measure.
