I see many AE diff screws break. We run the diff almost locked and seem to see atleast one person a week snap the head off without hitting a thing. The almost locked diff seems to keep most of the initial steering while pulling out of the turn like a spool. I guess between the tight diff on asphalt and 8x1's your bound to snap them weekly. I am going to try to see what size a losi bolt is and maybe enlarge the diff holes and use losi washers since I believe they use a 4/40 bolt.

Dave,
Glueing the bearing ring seem to help but I think the problem was shimming. I notice some wear on the diff gear and decided to replace it and shim it some more and BAM......no more click, click, click!!

Thanks for the help

6274 is the HPI part number for the stock bumper...

With the BRP bumper mod....Most people around here including myself were just adding the bumper and use the stock foam piece.

I would also look into the rubberneck racing bumpers. Much stiffer material. That bumper has saved me many a castor/steering block repairs. With those bumpers, you don't have to do the BRP bumper mod. Send "Wannabe" a pm as that is where I got the bumper from. Tell him that Proteus sent ya.

You can find him on the RDX, 1/12 and any of the ohio threads.
