Also what type of tape do the HPI ream racers use to hold down the batts? I guess that they do that to save on weight?
Thanks

Take your time with the shimming and the drivetrain should be smooth.

can someone help me out here?

if you were to say use 2 or 4 degree castor blocks.

how many millimetres of kickup would you need to get 3 degress of castor?

i'm new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

In my experience with the Pro 4, adding kick-up increases front traction which translates into more overall steering. Not sure how much kick-up you'll need. I'm using .5mm of kick-up and 2* castor blacks for stock racing on carpet w/ foam tires. I'm considering going to 0* castor blocks to increase on-power steering. I guess the question is: what are you trying to achieve by reaching 3* of castor? Also, your set-up info. and track conditions would help others to help you.

I believe its every .5MM shim is equal to .75 degrees, same for the front or back end.
