Hara WORKS for HB and is sponsored by both HB and HPI. The only reason he used the Pro 4 is because HB did not have a TC…until now.

Maybe they are just using the pro 4 parts to save on prototyping costs, I honestly don’t know.
Sweet.
That clears up a lot of rumours here in our sewing circle!
So this may be a ways off, but does HPI plan on sticking with the shaft for further development of the pro4?
Again some of the rumours being that you guys were switching to belt.

HPI hop-up parts are available in the US...just not all of them.

Just telling you what I’m told. Outta my hands…

Thanks.
I think many people, including myself, were under the impression that Hara worked for HPI. With him driving the Pro4 and the R40.
Thank for all the info.

The Car is just a year old this February.
I would think that a new car is at the very least a year off?

No, It came out mid February of 2004. To the public at least.
I know because I was annoying my LHS with calls to see if it was in yet.
I had it the first day it came out.
I heard that it was in development since like 2002. I saw some proto pic that had a 2002 date on it.

I get most of my pro4 parts from:
http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/
Funny thing is that even though they are in Hong Kong, parts only take like 5 business days and the shipping is like $5 bucks!
They have most pro4 parts not available here in the US.

you probably wont even pay custom fees or tax cause they put the description as $1 toy so they are cool and i do get it in 5 days thats faster than getting it from the states most of the time.

Hong Kong shops stock a lot wider range of hop ups than the states for the Pro4

On regards to the proto-type belt car…It looks very nice…but, after having a TBO1 and now just almost having my Pro 4 running…and have a few belt driven nitro cars and a hpi micro…I would never get a belt driven car again…just the headache of rocks in the belts, replacing the belts, and belts breaking…I like my car to work, if it’s racing or bashing…

Does any one have that SQUARE HEATSINK? And where can I get one?
Thanks
