To add moisture to the gears making it more durable... not doing so...result in the gears breaking up, it was to brittle...I'm sure HPI has a new updated gear in the works.

Transmission cases and shaft installed...(still gearless )

No problem with countersink depth... all screws flat with the chassis. :

My only dislikes so far are the suspension shaft mounting balls.
they are made of steel... They are very smooth now...but I could see these made of Delrin, lighter and even smoother.

I'm sure Square RC, HB, Jet, Tobee will come up with alot of option parts for this car. ie. steering bell cranks, camber link mounts, servo post, Ti input shafts, tranmission case like the Evo's. etc. etc...

That's pretty good if that's the only dislike, not an expensive thing to change!

I'm sure you're right about Square, and pobably HB, wonder if we'll see a Hara Pro-4?

Haven't fully assembled the car yet...may run across other thinks. My other concern is changing Spur gears...looks like a handfull of screws and upperdeck removal to get the little bugger out... the SD did a great job in designing this area...

Hara Pro-4... if it wins the worlds this year...most probably.
