btw, my pinion gear isn't touching the whole spur gear.. i just can't put the spur gear close enough to the front and approx 1/5 of the spur gear/pinion gear wasn't overlapping
anyone got the same problem? i didnt' have this problem when i was using my novak brushless but now i 'm running a monster stock and got this problem.
i'm thinking of putting a washer between the motor and the motor mount and not sure if it's a good idea.
Dude, I'm glad to hear that!!
I knew it had to be something simple like that!

ha yeah. if there are no silly people like me in the world, this thread will only got 1/10 posts

i think i remember why i didn't put those small shims there at the beginning:

when i put the rear input shaft together. i look at the instruction and put in the larger shims and then bearing , then put that spring pin in, then put the small shims and then the big purple metal spur gear holder.. and doh! the small shims blocked the way.. so i try to do it again without the shims.. and it works.. then i forgot to put the shims back in.

thanks a lot for your help anyway

Hi guys,
Just a comment/question on thread 332, wouldn't a cutoff piece of gas fuel tubing work also to replace the foam insert.
That way you can match the lenght, width exactly of the foam.
Please comment what you guys think!
Cheers,
Vance.

I am using currently Ass. Red in front & Ass. Gold in the back, on jaco foams and hi/low bite & twicty/straight tracks, in mod/stock. Very few times I used red&red.
Works for me!
