Thanks
Brandon....contact HPI usa they will send out the replacement parts. There was a batch that was bad and they will work with you on getting you the new parts. At the same time ask about the v1.1 gears if your kit didnt come with them....they will send you out the new version of the gears as well.

Tamiyaracer......I think they are thicker I had the same issue.

It might be, I have no idea....but running 8 minutes on 6 cells is amazing...for sure, not my 3300 nor my 19T motor...and now, you guys even saying they are running 8-10T mod....6 minutes? Wow...please don't tell me those batteries that these racers are using are coming out from the shelf of typical hobby store like HOBBYTOWN USA....? Please, I would not buy that theory....LOL

I did reshim things a bit with the Delrin diff halves. I don't thing they're any wider, but I do think the molded "stops" where the bearing pushes on to it located a bit further outward.

Check out the new videos in
www.radiocontrol.gr

There is some close ups of Hara working on his car in between the finals...

In the last video you can watch Marcīs best two laps of the whole event, a 12.5 sec. followed by the lap record 12.4 sec.

Can anyone help me with an HPI support/customer-service e-mail ... as I only see phone number on their website. My pro4 kit still came with the old type 1way diff(thin gear without support plate) that I got from StormerHobbies.

Thanks!

Vance

Well the Pro 4 has problems with the diff gears when you run the one-way up front. The diff gears tend to break teeth even on the slightest impact. So after hearing reports of it, HPI came out with these new tougher diff gears.

V1.1 gear and the plate is totally different shape (inside and out) compare to V1.0, once you have it, you can tell by looking at them.

Here is what to do to get them:

Call HPI at:
949-753-1099

Press 3 After Greeting Message

Either wait on hold or leave them a message. THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK!

Tell them why you called and say you wanted to get the new V1.1 diff gears for the Pro 4. They'll ask for your address and ship them out to you instantly.

Can't beat that.

Thanks Darkseid for this info (not me), I've got mine within 5 days and do not email them, a customer support like that it need to be call in person and thank them, HPI CS is A++++++++
