Not so with the new chassis.
Are you running on carpet?

Hey Erik, would 2 shot axle bearings on the left front make the car handle inconsistently I was prepping the car last night and found the problem. The one-way couldn't have had consistent action with that going on. Going to have to hit the LHS this afternoon.

Wink

Has anybody snapped the AE diff bolt yet? I never broke one in my TC3 in 4 years of running it. Yesterday, I snapped 2 up front running a KR 9x2. I didn't hit anything and the car was dialed. I do run the front diff tight, but it not locked. It still diffs with the motor in. Anyone else had this happen, or just was my chi off?

While checking the rear of my car, with the shocks un-mounted, sway-bars installed. Is there a reason that the right side a-arm can be raised 3mm more than the left side?

Thats what I was checking 5.5 right and left. No shocks, no sway-bars. Now I got it. With upper camber links off, if the hub carrier is not 90 degrees, and depending on where the cvd is resting in the outdrive (slot, or not is the slot) offers different uptravel limits

Sorry, didn't see that you were talking about uptravel, not down. That would do it, and i've noticed that one side, I think its the right rear, can hit the bottom of the body post at an extreme angle as well.

Now I got it! When I first got the car, the slightest impact would pop off the left inner ball cup. After a few weeks of losing diff rings I replace both of the left ball cups with Schumacher cups. Never had a problem on the right side so the HPI cups are still on. DIFFERENT SIZE CUPS RIGHT AND LEFT

Same ball-cups same up-travel limit. Next problem, still with no shocks mounted. With sway bars connected, when I raise the right arear a-arm, the left a-arm goes all the way up to the limit. When I raise the left rear a-arm, the right a-arm only raises 3mm. I have the links and amount of sway-bar sticking through the stops equal.

check the sway bar ball cups on the arms for binding. Mine did the same thing until I freed up those cups. What you do is just squeeze ball cup with a pliars and wiggle it a bit and it should free up

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I have been messing with the tension set-screws but that only helps to a degree.

Default Need help finding a new Pro 2 chassis...

Hey guys, I have a friend that has a broken Pro 2 chassis and I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy one? I checked the HPI site and I don't see anything. Can you still get them and can you get it in 3mm? Thanks for any help. I thought someone here could point me in the right direction.

Default New, and need gearing help

Im fairly new to onroad, and just got a pro 4. Ive always ran losi, and in the losi manuals it tells you what pinion to run with different turn motors. I dont really know or understand how to figure out ratios with the different motors, so Id like to know what pinion to run with a 75 tooth spur and a stock, 19, 12, 13, and 14 turn motors
