I donít know if you guys have ever looked a XXS but it uses a similar sweep in the front arms but at an even more aggressive angle.
Good thing you told us... some racers would bashing the car already for a possible design blunder...

The Car looks great!... can't wait to mine soon..

I agree with Thad, it's kinda like the trailing setup similar to the xxx-s for more steering. Kinda like doing a B-A setup on an Ebo Trey. By the way, VERY nice looking Evo3-Purple Edition hehehe couldn't help. I hope you guys enjoy this car, that along with some ti screws would make this car a very worthwhile adventure.

How are the parts fitting together? Any hand fitting necessary?

Christmas is going to be late this year. Had to buy my wife a new '04 Odyssey...
Hopefully I've got a couple kits on the way and get it by New Years....
I am all set to make a Hara Edition car though... have the purple front body post, graphite upper bumper support, purple clamp on motor heat-sink. Ti-screws, etc... all I need now is the freek'n car!

it's also similar to the TC3... but never had any problems when I had the Car... as I recall the Evo input shaft was only supported by one bearing... on the Pro4, TC3 or even the R2 cudas.. the input shaft has 2 bearing...which keeps the shaft inline resulting in less gear strippage.

Actually if I am not mistaken, the TC3 oneway has the gear mounted on its backside, not the front.Thats my worry for now.I will stand back and see what people who actually race this car experience.Hopefully I am totally wrong!

Hopefully you are wrong...and the car is flawless....
I'm sure HPI has address that problem.
if there is gear strippage problem...I'll be ready for it... I've got a spare graphite back plate I can put it....hopefully there is enough room in the gear box.

The shaft is floating though so it shouldn't have any problems with stripping front gears. Also the gearboxes are a top and bottom mount style. Again the shafts being supported by many bearings. Someone drive one and tell me how it runs so I can sell my SD and get a pro4 for 19t.

James...

As soon as I get mine... I'll let you take it out for a drive at Stockton or SWR.
I sold my SD...and got a 'Cuda Web special... and I don't regret it one bit. If I ever make it to Stockton.. I'll let you drive that too.

as Thad mentioned, the Losi uses the same design in the front arms. they are also mounted at an angle and were made that way for a reason .... and thanks to thad, i now know the reason! HAHAHA thanks thad!

The Schumacher Mission also had an option to add toe out to the front arms and toe in to the rear arms (same as the Losi xxxs)......

Ok, I know exactly what it changes, It gives an auto variable castor (less off power castor and more on power castor).

I was just wondering whether they did that or it was the pic that gave that effect.
