the Pro4 is a very durable car.. the Evo4 on the other hand needs some TLC stay away from the boards..if you don't...be prepared to replace the wheels bearings more often. They are small and fragile.

man.. I hope not!

BTW guys, I built a normal HPI diff and it's super smooth, doesn't slip and holds its settings! unlike the one that came with the kit.

I think it's the grease i used on the original diff. I used trinity "purple stuff" It's really really thick grease and i think that made the diff slip and made it feel very viscousious.

I just used normal white grease and it's super smooth!

anyone recommend ultraloning up a spur gear?

Also, don't you guys find RRP aluminum pinion gears go bad fast?
I have 4 different ones and the teeth get banged alittle only after few runs

I'm about to order a pro4 to run in mod class, wheres the cheapest place to order one these days that will ship international?

(i'd also prefer it to be the updated kit with the 1.1 gears)

I don't think it is possible to tell outside of the box if it includes new gears.

SPEEDTECHRC has very fast international shipping (At least to Canada)

He might know if he has the newer kits or not; if you email him.

Oh yeah try www.towerhobbies.com
Never taken over a week to get anything to Hobart, shipping seems reasonably priced too.

Or try www.rcmart.com in Hong Kong

super steve: i've emailed speectech rc, their price is good, hopefully shipping isnt too bad.. thanks!

azenis: unfortunately towerhobbies is a bit overpriced on the pro4 kit (even with the $20 discount coupon), and their intl. shipping is rediculously expensive.

OK
I hadnt looked at the price of freighting a kit, thought it would have been ok, a few guys down here bought them from there. Still a lot cheaper than buing from Oz...
