sorry don't know..
if the shimming was done per manual and diffs look fine...might be something else.... mostly like something rubbing on the diff outdrive, driveshaft, cv axles etc.

remove the drive shaft and run it..and see if it still makes the noise... if there is no noise..the problem is up front... if there is..you've narrowed down which half of the car the problem is on....

the spacers you were to add on the diff outdrives and the small bevel gear output shafts....
The shimms are to properly mesh the 2 bevel gears.

After you fixed the rear diff with the associated t nut and screwed down the diffcases, were the shims on the small bevel gear side in the corrrect place? ( kinda hard to explain- i mean the three shims on the input shaft which go between the two small bearings) If not this would cause incorrect gear meshing and possibly what you are experiencing.
HTH.

I think that's the problem. Somewhere the spacers might be off. I need to check that. Thanks guys.

page 14 of the manual... part #Z892 that goes on the outdrives..
you'll have to add or take away as needed.
Page 15... part # Z877 (3) shimms on the bevel gear..

If you have forgotten these... put them in place per the manual.

It always pays to read the manual a couple times before you start building... there may be little things you might miss...
especially on a Pro level kit like this...

Thanks. It's just weird that it would take this long for the clicking to appear. I've been running this car for two weeks and haven't changed anything with the input shaft spacings or anything.

yea..at first they look fine...but after it's broken in it's when thinks start to happen. This is when you make your final adjustments... after this...you should have no problems.... cross your fingers...

Thanks,
rescrew them on a flat surface like a glass table and when you tighten the screws...do it in a star pattern like you would when changing tires on your real car.

Make sure the chassis is flat,I use a peice of glass(large oval)and tighten the screws a bit at a time(?)and I tighten the screws for the steering last.and I do tighten them in a pattern..front to rear, left to right, not sure how everyone else is doing it but this seems to work for me.

Product D/Tobee makes them as well... slightly thicker than stock making it more durable. and the price is not bad either... approx. $11-12 for 2!.. HPI is $9.00 for 1.

Square RC make the bones and axles in TI.

THe TC3 Dog bones is a direct fit.

THere is no reason to use others... it's all racers preference and how mush $$$ you want to spend...
