That rear diff mod worked great! No slippage in 3 qual. and a main. By the way I beat that Punisher guy by at least 2 laps.

Hara drove amazingly all week. The Pro 4 was definitely in a class of its own.

I'd hate to win a race, you get cold water dumped on you.

Spool?

I am keen to try a spool in my Pro4 .... anyone got any ideas on the best way to do this? What parts of the standard diff would I need to leave in? I assume take the bearings out and also the diff balls? What about the diff thust balls etc?

Has anyone any experience of using a spool in a Pro4?

I find it interesting that a spool seems to be hyped so much and yet hardly any of the major manufacturers make one?

Any help and advice appreciated
Scott

Default Diff time :)

Just letting you all know that I just finished another day of full racing this weekend and the diff is still smooth and it does not slip. So that is two race days, and a couple of bash sessions in front of my house.

Like I said before when I get my new derlin out drives I will do a write up for everyone.

Do you guys balance out your pro4? I have to add 40g to the right side to make left and right balanced.

Default Pro 4 dog bones

Hi all.
Well after running my Kit MIP dogbones and slowly watching the holes elongate to the point that they become unuseable, i was wondering if anybody has treid the universal ones that HPI are now selling? If you have, are they more durable? and also is there a big difference in weight if you know? heavier/lighter.
Thanks.
These are what I mean:
