How many shims etc are you running in your rear diff chris?

Mine is just getting annoying with the rear diff jumping teeth on the bevel after a couple of runs

im running 1 std and 1 copper shim on the end furthest away from the bevel gear and 1 std shim on the other end. this seems to work pretty well for me.

hopefully the new gears solve the issue. funny how i moved from evo3 surikarn to pro4 for gear issues, now it's the other end giving people woes!

can't you just copy the associated tc3 gear design?

i got 10 sets of 1.1's comming!

Maybe but the gears are not actually breaking, I havnt broken any yet, the diff and bevel just seem to go out of line really easily and start skipping.

if possible can people do a small "windows paint" picture to describe were they place the shims. all the descriptions i read are hard to understand just makes it easier for all of us.

here is my setup copied from someone at the track haven't tested it yet but they don't seem to have issues;

The hole under the spur allows small stones to drop back out, taping up the hole would make matters worse as the majority of debris comes off the wheels, not through the hole.

I guess I missed the boat, but... Where can I get the heat sink Hara is using on his motors (Not the Motor heat sink)? I saw it on Hpi's website, Reedy Race pics. Any help?

I just use the same shimming from the current version of the manual. I've busted up some of the ring gears on the one-way on tracks with tough barriers but those were the early version gears. In fact, when taking apart my gearboxes I've forgotten where the input shaft spacers go, I've just put them back where ever and haven't had a problem with them.
